As we step into the realm of 2024, it’s an opportune moment for reflection on the essence of leadership and set intentions that pave the way for growth, courage, boundaries, and the pursuit of becoming exceptional leaders. These challenges occur every year; and I navel gaze every year in search of “what will I do next year.” I’m sure you’re not any different. This year, however, I think I have given up goals. I have fully embraced “intentions” and these intentions, above, seem to be where many of my clients are going as well.
Growth, the perennial pursuit in leadership, is akin to a garden that needs consistent care and nurturing. It involves not just acquiring new skills but also embracing a mindset that thrives on continuous learning. Encouraging new and aspiring leaders to see growth as a journey rather than a destination is key. It’s about evolving, adapting, and always being open to new possibilities. To do this, I’ll be setting out new group coaching plans and videos for training, as well as a new micro-podcast to infuse your day with a quick burst of leadership advice.

Conquering fear is a universal challenge, and in leadership, it’s the linchpin that separates great leaders from the rest. My first masterclass group will be focused on the seven most common fears we find in the workplace, and how to move them along, out the door! The Fearless Experience will emphasize the importance of acknowledging fears, dissecting them, and using them as catalysts for growth can be transformative. Fear, when harnessed effectively, can be a powerful motivator. Yes, there are positive aspects to fears which we will explore. This begins January 11. and I would love to have you join us! Setting boundaries is an art form, and leaders often find themselves navigating a delicate balance between being accessible and maintaining a sense of authority. As we embrace the new year, instilling the importance of clear, respectful boundaries becomes paramount. It’s a leadership skill that not only fosters a healthy work environment but also ensures sustained effectiveness. My second masterclass group will be on Values and Boundaries – understanding our values to set our boundaries. We will explore the values that make our leadership styles unique and then work as a group through boundaries – setting and maintaining them. This four-week-masterclass will begin in March, so look for the announcements coming soon!

Becoming the best leaders we can be involves a holistic approach, addressing not just professional aspects but also personal well-being. Encouraging your clients to cultivate habits that nurture both their professional and personal selves can lead to a more harmonious and fulfilling leadership journey. One thing my one on one clients have been focusing on is more advanced leadership techniques, like becoming trauma-informed, strategic thinking, being data driven, and learning pattern awareness. This six-week group masterclass will be open to anyone who wants to know. Look for announcements on this coming in March.
This year my intention is clear: growing my sphere of service to your leadership journey.
So, in the spirit of the new year, let’s embark together on this journey of leadership with zest and determination. Here’s to a year of growth, conquering fears, setting healthy boundaries, and evolving into the best leaders we can be.
